1 Foreword

JB/T 11768-2014 was issued by MIIT on 6 May 2014 and has been in force since 1 October 2014.

2 Scope

This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for manually operated self-centring chucks with precision adjustment, used as machine tool workholding. It covers the types and parameters of these chucks, their technical requirements and their geometric accuracy, the test methods and the inspection, and the rules for labelling, packaging and accompanying documents. Its field of application takes in chucks in metric and in inch sizes. The standard carries the Chinese classification J52 and the international classification 25.060.20, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 4346-2008, GB/T 17421.1-1998, GB/T 23291-2009, JB/T 3207-2005, JB/T 9935-2011 and ISO 3442-1-2005.
