1 Foreword

JB/T 11578.2-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.

It is one of 2 parts of the JB/T 11578 series.

2 Scope

This standard is the second part of the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on ball bearing ring automatic lathes, and it holds the specifications. It sets the manufacturing and inspection requirements for the lathe. It applies to machines turning rings with outside diameters from 22 mm to 120 mm, inside diameters from 8 mm to 60 mm and widths up to 50 mm. The Chinese classification is J53 and the international classification 25.080.01, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it. Among the standards it quotes are GB 5226.1-2008, GB/T 7932-2003, GB/T 9601-2006, GB 15760-2004, GB/T 23571-2009 and JB/T 11578.1-2013.
