1 Foreword

JB/T 11514-2013 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.

2 Scope

This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for battery-powered chain saws. It fixes the basic parameters and the types of these cordless saws, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, and it also covers marking, packaging, transport and storage, the warranty period and the accessories. Among the standards it quotes are GB 3883.1-2008, GB 3883.14-2007, GB 4343.1-2009, GB/T 4583-2007, GB 4706.18-2005, GB/T 5023.5-2008, GB/T 9088-2008 and GB/T 28164-2011. It belongs to Chinese classification K64 and international classification 25.140.20, and was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
