This document replaces GB/T 3883.14-2007 "Safety of hand-held power tools Part 2.Special requirements for chain saws" and is consistent with

Compared with GB/T 3883.14-2007, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

a) "Pole type pruning saw" is added to the inapplicable content of the scope chapter, and the operation of the left and right hands is clarified (see Chapter 1);

1 Scope

Except for the following provisions, this chapter of GB/T 3883.1-2014 applies.

This document does not cover chain saws used in conjunction with guide bars and dividing knives, nor does it cover any chains used in other ways (e.g. with brackets).
