1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, sample preparation, test conditions, test methods, etc. for the extrusion force test of precision roller chains (including heavy-load series), bushing chains, motorcycle chains.

This standard applies to chains manufactured in accordance with the requirements of GB/T 1243-2006 and GB/T 14212-2003. Other chains with the same structure, similar type and size (excluding electroplated chains) can be implemented as a reference.

The provisions in following documents become the provisions of this Standard through reference in this Standard. For the dated references, the subsequent amendments (excluding corrections) or revisions do not apply to this Standard; however, parties who reach an agreement based on this Standard are encouraged to study if the latest versions of these documents are applicable. For undated references, the latest edition of the referenced document applies.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions established in GB/T 9785 apply to this standard.

4 Technical requirements

4.1 The extrusion force of precision roller chains and bushing chains shall comply with the provisions of Table 1.
