JB/T 10500.1-2019 is the English-translated version of 电机用埋置式热电阻 第1部分：一般规定、测量方法和检验规则.
Part 1 of JB/T 10500 lays down the general provisions, measurement methods and inspection rules for the thermal resistance detectors embedded in motors. It covers the WZPD and WZCD series of platinum and copper thermal resistances made specially for motors.
The part applies to platinum and copper thermal resistances used to measure the temperature of motor windings and motor cores, and to other mechanical devices with similar temperature measurement needs.
It was issued in 2019 by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and came into force on 1 October 2020.
