1 Foreword

JB/T 10463-2016 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 15 January 2016 and has been in force since 1 June 2016.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 10463-2004.

2 Scope

This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery standard for magnetic fluid vacuum rotary seals. It covers the numbering of these seals, their types and sizes, the technical requirements, and the marking, packaging, storage and transport.
