1 Foreword

JB/T 10231.13-2017 was issued by MIIT on 7 November 2017 and has been in force since 1 April 2018.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 10231.13-2002.

It is one of 46 parts of the JB/T 10231 series.

2 Scope

This standard is the part of the Chinese mechanical industry standard on tool inspection methods that deals with metal slitting saws. It specifies the inspection methods for saw blade milling cutters and screw slot milling cutters, together with the testing instruments used for them. JB/T 10231.1-2015 is the standard it quotes. It replaces the 2002 edition of this part, JB/T 10231.13-2002.
