HG/T 4938-2016 is a recommended chemical industry standard of China for 2,4-D-ethylhexyl emulsifiable concentrate, a herbicide preparation. It gives the requirements, the test methods and the provisions on marking, labeling, packaging and storage, together with safety rules and the guarantee period. The formulation it addresses is obtained by dissolving 2,4-D-ethylhexyl ester and an emulsifier in a suitable solvent. Standards quoted in it include GB/T 1600, GB/T 1601, GB/T 1603, GB/T 1604, GB/T 1605-2001, GB/T 4472, GB 4838, GB/T 6682-2008, GB/T 8170-2008, GB/T 19136 and GB/T 19137. Issued on 15 January 2016, it has applied since 1 July 2016.
