HG/T 4843-2015 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard covering precoated coil coatings for household appliances. It classifies these products, states the requirements, and lays down the test methods, the inspection rules and the rules for marking, packaging and storage. The coatings concerned are solvent-based organic paints prepared from resin, pigments, extender pigments, additives and solvents in set proportions and applied to appliance metal sheet on a continuous coil coating line, for use on the metal panels of many kinds of domestic appliance. Its test base is extensive and includes GB/T 1733-1993, GB/T 1735-2009, GB/T 9286-1998, GB/T 9754-2007, GB/T 20624.2-2006, GB/T 23987-2009, GB/T 30791-2014 and ISO 6270-2-2005. Issued on 14 July 2015, it has applied since 1 January 2016.
