HG/T 4608-2014 is the Chinese chemical industry standard that sets out how the colour of optical functional films is measured. The method is built on the colorimetric systems of the International Commission on Illumination, using either the CIE 1931 standard colorimetric system or the CIE 1964 standard colorimetric system. It is a recommended standard and is classified with optical measurement rather than with a product family. Alongside the Chinese references GB/T 3978, GB/T 3979, GB/T 5698, GB/T 7921 and GB/T 9086, it also calls up the Japanese standard JIS Z 8722. Issued on 6 May 2014, it has applied since 1 October 2014.
