HG/T 4557-2013 is a recommended chemical industry standard of China for the catalysts used to hydrogenate nitrobenzene into aniline. It states the requirements for these catalysts and gives the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, storage and transport. The catalysts in scope are those charged to fluidized bed aniline units. Sampling and analysis follow the quoted standards GB/T 191, GB/T 601, GB/T 603, GB/T 6003.1, GB/T 6284, GB/T 6678, GB/T 6682 and GB/T 8170. Chinese classification G75 and international classification 71.100.99 apply, with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology as the issuing body. Issued on 17 October 2013, it has applied since 1 March 2014.
