HG/T 4681-2014 sets out the chemical composition analysis of catalysts for the hydrogenation of nitrobenzene to aniline and is a recommended standard of the Chinese chemical industry. It covers the determinations made on these catalysts, including water, copper, ferric oxide, sodium oxide and potassium, so that a batch can be characterised by its composition. As an analytical standard it prescribes methods and does not grade the product. The preparation of reagents and standard solutions follows GB/T 601 and GB/T 603, laboratory water follows GB/T 6682, sampling follows GB/T 6678, and GB/T 6284 is cited in addition. Issued on 14 October 2014, it has applied since 1 April 2015.
