HG/T 4524-2013 is the English-translated version of 人造宝石用二氧化锆.
HG/T 4524-2013 is the recommended standard of the Chinese chemical industry for zirconium dioxide intended for synthetic zirconia gemstones. It establishes the requirements for this grade of zirconium dioxide, the test methods and the inspection rules, and it prescribes marking, labelling, packaging, transport and storage. Its scope is the zirconium dioxide used to make artificial gemstones, and it does not extend to other grades. The Chinese classification is G13 and the international classification 71.060.20. The standards it quotes are GB/T 191-2008, GB/T 6678, GB/T 6682-2008, GB/T 8170, GB/T 19587, HG/T 3696.1, HG/T 3696.2, HG/T 3696.3 and YS/T 568.3.
