HG/T 4301-2012 is the recommended chemical industry standard giving a test method for the resistance of rubber to fungi. It sets out how the mould performance of rubber materials and products is tested and how the result is evaluated. Its scope is rubber materials and products, and other polymer materials may be handled in the same way; the standard does not deal with evaluating the safety of a mouldy product. It was prepared as a non-equivalent adoption of ASTM G21-2009 and is used with GB/T 2941, GB/T 6682 and YY 0569-2005. Issued on 24 May 2012, it has applied since 1 November 2012.
