HG/T 4277-2011 is the recommended technical specification of the Chinese chemical industry for plastic-lined steel tower vessels. It covers their classification and naming, the requirements, the test methods and the trial rules, and then marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to washing towers, rectifying towers, drying towers, absorbers and similar lined towers whose lining is ETFE, FEP, PE, PFA, polyolefin copolymer, PP, PTFE, PVC, PVDF or chlorotrifluoroethylene, in nominal sizes DN 300 mm to DN 4000 mm and with the nominal pressure fixed by the design. It quotes GB 150, JB/T 4701 and JB/T 4702, HG/T 4088 to HG/T 4093, HG 20581 and HG/T 20678. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
