Scope
HG/T 4204-2011 is the English-translated version of 低砷碳酸钙.
HG/T 4204-2011 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for low-arsenic calcium carbonate. It fixes the requirements for the product, the test methods, the inspection rules and the rules on marking, labelling, packaging, transport and storage. The grade in its scope is produced from limestone by carbonation and is used as a filler for tipping paper, cigarette paper and other special papers, the low arsenic content being what sets it apart from ordinary calcium carbonate. The determinations are carried out with GB/T 191-2008, GB/T 6678, GB/T 6682-2008, GB/T 8170, GB/T 19281-2003, GB/T 23774-2009, GB/T 23947.2-2009, HG/T 3249.1-2008 and the three parts of HG/T 3696. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
