HG/T 4084-2009 is the recommended chemical industry standard of China for fully automatic water purification units built on enhanced flocculation and sedimentation. The units it describes are assembled from efficient coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, multi-media filtration, disinfection and integrated water reuse stages. The standard sets the terms and definitions, the classification, naming and operating parameters, the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the packaging, transport and storage provisions. It applies where the raw water and the user call for such a plant: townships and rural areas, farms, army units, works water plants of small and medium industrial enterprises, rainwater reuse schemes and medium sized circulating cooling water systems. Among its quoted documents are GB 5749, GB 50013, CJ/T 43, HG 20507 and JB/T 2932. Issued on 5 February 2009, it has applied since 1 July 2009.
