HG/T 4075-2008 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard that sets the spectrophotometric method for determining the orthophosphoric acid content of phosphorus trichloride for industrial use.

Unlike a product standard, it describes a single determination, so its content is the analytical procedure alone. It applies to industrial phosphorus trichloride whose phosphoric acid content is greater than or equal to 0.001 %.

The method is carried out with the reagent and water conventions of GB/T 602 and GB/T 6682, and it is used on the product covered by HG/T 2970, all three being quoted. Issued on 23 April 2008, it has applied since 1 October 2008.
