HG/T 3947-2007 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for one-component room temperature vulcanizing silicone adhesives and sealants. It fixes the requirements for these products and gives the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage. It covers one-component RTV silicone adhesives and sealants whose main ingredients are a polysiloxane, a filler, a crosslinking agent and a catalyst, used for sealing work in electrical and electronic equipment and in the machinery industry. The standard carries the Chinese classification G39 and the international group 83.180 for adhesives, and it quotes GB/T 528, GB/T 531, GB/T 1692, GB/T 1694, GB/T 1695, GB/T 2794, GB/T 7124 and HG/T 3075. Issued on 20 July 2007, it has applied since 1 January 2008.
