Scope
HG/T 3932-2007 is the English-translated version of 工业用预糊化淀粉.
HG/T 3932-2007 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for pregelatinized starch of industrial grade. It sets the requirements for the product and gives the test methods and inspection rules, together with the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage. The standard covers the production, testing and sale of pregelatinized starch made mainly from potato and cassava starch. Outside the food industry the product is used in construction, in casting and in mineral refining, where it serves as a sand binder and as a finishing agent. It quotes GB/T 601, GB/T 603, GB/T 1250, GB/T 6003.1, GB/T 6678, GB/T 6682, GB/T 9724 and GB/T 12309. Issued on 13 April 2007, it has applied since 1 October 2007.
