HG/T 3913-2006 is the Chinese chemical industry standard that sets the technical requirements for high speed centrifugal pumps, covering design, manufacture, testing and inspection as well as marking, packaging, transport and storage. It is written for the high speed pumps used in the petroleum, chemical and gas industries to move acids, alkalis, alcohols, benzene, hydrocarbons, oils and pharmaceutical liquids of a viscosity below 0.5 Pa s at temperatures from -130 °C to 260 °C. The vertical and horizontal machines it describes run from 1.1 kW to 560 kW, deliver 0.6 m3/h to 140 m3/h, reach heads of 11 m to 3049 m and turn at 3000 r/min to 23700 r/min. Other high speed centrifugal pumps of similar design may be referred to it. Issued on 26 July 2006, it has applied since 1 March 2007.
