HG/T 3880-2006 is the English-translated version of 耐正负压内包骨架旋转轴 唇形密封圈.
HG/T 3880-2006 is a recommended chemical industry standard of China for rubber-covered rotary shaft lip seals with internal reinforcement that must withstand both pressure and vacuum. It gives the terminology, definitions and symbols for these seals, sets their types and requirements, and covers the test methods together with marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to seals mounted on the rotating shafts of gear pumps to retain hydraulic oil and grease, working between -40 °C and 100 °C and at pressures from -56 kPa to 0.2 MPa. Classified G43 with the international groups 83.140.50 and 23.100.60, it quotes GB/T 528-1998, GB/T 531-1999, GB/T 1682-1994, GB/T 3512-2001, GB/T 5721-1993, GB/T 9877.1-1988, GB/T 15326-1994 and JB/T 7042-1993. Issued on 26 July 2006, it has applied since 1 March 2007.
