HG/T 3871-2008 is the English-translated version of 橡胶 铅含量的测定 双硫腙光度法.
HG/T 3871-2008 is the Chinese chemical industry standard that describes how to determine the lead content of rubber by the dithizone photometric method. It applies to raw rubber, compounds and vulcanizates whose lead content does not exceed 1000 mg/kg; samples above that level can still be measured if the mass of the test portion or the concentration of the solution is adjusted. It quotes GB/T 4498, GB/T 15340 and GB/T 17783. It is a recommended document, classified G40 in the Chinese system and 83.060 internationally, and it replaces the 2006 edition HG/T 3871-2006. Issued on 23 April 2008, it has applied since 1 October 2008.
