HG/T 3864-2008 is the English-translated version of V带的层间粘合强度试验方法.
HG/T 3864-2008 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard covering the test methods used to measure the adhesion strength between the constitutive elements of V-belts. It sets out how the bond is determined between the fabric and the rubber, between the top and bottom rubber and the core section, and between the plies of the wrapping fabric. The methods are written for V-belts of cord construction as well as for V-belts of ply construction. The standard carries the Chinese classification G42 and the international classification 53.040.20, and it quotes GB/T 532 and GB/T 12833. It replaces the earlier edition HG/T 3864-2006. Issued on 23 April 2008, it has applied since 1 October 2008.
