Scope
HG/T 3853-2006 is the English-translated version of 颜料干粉耐热性测定法.
HG/T 3853-2006 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for assessing the heat resistance of dry powder pigments and dyestuffs. Under the method, a sample of the powder is held at a stated temperature for a set time and its colour is then assessed, the difference in shade giving the measure of heat resistance. The result is expressed as a temperature in °C. The standard is classified G54 in the Chinese system and 87.060.10 internationally, placing it among the standards for colouring matter, and it quotes HG/T 3854-2006. It takes over from the older national standard GB/T 1716-1979. Issued on 27 July 2006, it has applied since 11 October 2006.
