HG/T 3829-2006 is the English-translated version of 地坪涂料.

Floor coatings are the subject of HG/T 3829-2006, a recommended standard of the Chinese chemical industry. It fixes the terms and definitions used for these products and then their classification, their requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the rules for marking, packaging and storage. The coatings concerned are those painted onto floors laid on cement, concrete, stone, steel or other such base surfaces, while water-based floor coatings and elastic floor coatings are left outside the scope. Testing follows established paint and varnish methods including GB/T 1728-1979 (1989), GB/T 1731-1993, GB/T 1732-1993, GB/T 1733-1993, GB/T 1734-1993, GB/T 9271-1988 and GB/T 9274-1988, alongside ISO 7784-2:1997 and ISO 15184:1998. Issued on 26 July 2006, it has applied since 1 March 2007.
