Scope
HG/T 3515-2011 is the English-translated version of 防水整理剂H.
HG/T 3515-2011 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for water-repellent finishing agent H. It lays down the technical requirements for the product together with sampling, test methods, inspection rules and the rules for marking, packaging, transport and storage. The agent covered is prepared as a non-ionic silicone emulsion, used mainly on polyester, nylon and polypropylene fabrics, to which it gives good water repellency and softness. GB/T 5553-2007 and GB/T 8170 are quoted, and the standard replaces HG/T 3515-1990, an edition more than twenty years older. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
