HG/T 4265-2011 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard giving the method for determining the oil repellency of water and oil repellent agents used as textile dyeing and finishing auxiliaries. It applies to the testing of oil repellency on auxiliaries of that kind. Specimen conditioning follows GB/T 6529, the water used follows GB/T 6682, and results are expressed according to GB/T 8170-2008. It was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and is grouped with the other auxiliary test methods of the same series, which share its classification under surface active agents. Issued on 20 December 2011, it has applied since 1 July 2012.
