HG/T 3331-2012 is the English-translated version of 绝缘漆漆膜体积电阻系数和表面电阻系数测定法.

HG/T 3331-2012 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard that gives the method for determining the volume resistivity and the surface resistivity of insulating varnish films. The volume resistance Rv and the surface resistance Rs of the film are measured with a high resistance meter, and from these the volume resistivity Pv and the surface resistivity Ps are calculated, Pv being expressed in ohm centimetres. The method is used on the films formed by insulating paints. It quotes GB/T 3186, GB/T 6682, GB/T 9278, GB/T 13452.2 and HG/T 3855-2006. It replaces HG/T 3331-1978. Issued on 7 November 2012, it has applied since 1 March 2013.
