Scope
HG/T 3006-2012 is the English-translated version of 云母氧化铁颜料.
HG/T 3006-2012 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for micaceous iron oxide pigments. It gives the classification of the pigments and their requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the rules for marks, packaging, transport and storage.
Both synthetic and natural micaceous iron oxide pigments fall within it. The text is a modified adoption of ISO 10601-2007, and it quotes GB/T 1717, GB/T 1863, GB/T 3186, GB/T 5211.2, GB/T 5211.3, GB/T 5211.15, GB/T 8170 and HG/T 3852-2006.
It supersedes HG/T 3006-1986. Issued on 7 November 2012, it has applied since 1 March 2013.
