Scope
HG/T 2508-2012 is the English-translated version of 氧化锌脱硫剂.
HG/T 2508-2012 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for zinc oxide desulfurizers. The types it covers are T302Q, T304-1 and T305, and for each it lays down the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the rules for marking, packaging, storage and transport. These desulfurizers are used in ammonia, hydrogen and methanol synthesis and in organic synthesis gas systems. The standard draws on GB/T 191, GB/T 6678 and GB/T 8170, and on HG/T 2512, HG/T 2513, HG/T 2782 and HG/T 2976. It takes over from HG 2508-2004. Issued on 28 December 2012, it has applied since 1 June 2013.
