HG/T 2434-2018 is the English-translated version of 搪玻璃阀门技术条件.

HG/T 2434-2018 is the recommended Chinese chemical industry standard for glass-lined valves. It sets the requirements for the valves and the rules for assembly, pressure testing, acceptance, marking, packaging, storage and transport. It applies to glass-lined upper discharge valves, lower discharge valves, ball valves and flat valves with a nominal pressure of 1.0 MPa or less and a design temperature from -20 °C to 200 °C. It quotes GB/T 7991.5, GB/T 7991.6, GB/T 9439-2010, GB/T 12220, GB/T 12221, GB/T 12226, GB/T 12229-2005, GB/T 13927, GB 25025, HG/T 20592, JB/T 7927 and JB/T 7928. It replaces HG/T 2434-2012. Issued on 22 October 2018, it has applied since 1 April 2019.
