HG/T 2415-2007 is the English-translated version of 照相化学品 成色剂微量金属的测定 火焰原子吸收光谱法.
The determination of trace metals in colour couplers by flame atomic absorption spectrometry is the subject of HG/T 2415-2007, a recommended chemical industry standard in the photographic chemicals family. An acetylene-air flame is used, and the elements determined are copper, iron, zinc, aluminium and chromium. The method applies to couplers whose ignition residue can be dissolved in hydrochloric or nitric acid, and a detection limit in the µg/mL range is stated for each element. GB/T 602, GB/T 603, GB/T 4470, GB/T 6682, GB/T 6819 and GB/T 9723 are quoted. It supersedes HG/T 2415-1993. Issued on 13 April 2007, it has applied since 1 October 2007.
