HG/T 2086-2013 is the English-translated version of 二氧化硫氧化制硫酸催化剂.
HG/T 2086-2013 is the recommended chemical industry standard covering the catalysts used to oxidize sulfur dioxide to sulfuric acid. It sets the requirements for the S101, S101-2H, S107, S108, S107-1H, S108-1H and S109 types, including the S109-1 and S109-2 variants, and goes on to the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, storage and transport. Classified under CCS G75 and ICS 71.100.99, it belongs with the chemical products of sulfuric acid plants. It quotes GB/T 191, GB/T 6678, GB/T 8170, HG/T 2089, HG/T 2516, HG/T 2782 and HG/T 2976. It takes the place of HG 2086-2004, which was a mandatory standard. Issued on 17 October 2013, it has applied since 1 March 2014.
