HG/T 20636.6-2017 is a recommended chemical industry standard of China and forms part six of the code for the design management of instrumentation in chemical plants. It defines the duties of the checking and review work carried out on instrumentation engineering design, the basic requirements for that checking, and the points to be examined in each type of design document. It therefore reads as a set of review checklists for the documents the instrumentation discipline produces. It refers to GB 4457, GB 7353, GB 50493, HG/T 20509 to HG/T 20516, HG/T 20573, HG/T 20636.5, the eight parts of HG/T 20637 and HG/T 20638. It replaces HG/T 20636.9-1998. Issued on 7 November 2017, it has applied since 1 April 2018.
