HG/T 20525-2006 is the English-translated version of 化学工业管式炉传热计算设计规定.
HG/T 20525-2006 is the Chinese chemical industry design code for the heat transfer calculation of tubular furnaces. It is written for the fired furnaces of chemical plants, whatever their fuel, and takes in gas, liquid and solid fuel tube furnaces, cracking furnaces, hydrocarbon reforming furnaces and the other industrial furnaces in common use in the sector. Its subject is the heat transfer calculation carried out when such a furnace is designed, rather than the mechanical construction of the equipment. The code belongs to the chemical engineering design group of the catalogue (Chinese classification G93) and is used with HG/T 20682 and HG/T 20685. It supersedes HG/T 20525-1992. Issued on 14 October 2006, it has applied since 1 April 2007.
