HG/T 20206-2017 is the English-translated version of 化工机器安装工程施工及验收规范（中小型活塞式压缩机）.
HG/T 20206-2017 is a recommended Chinese chemical industry code for the installation of chemical machinery, in the part dealing with small and medium-sized reciprocating compressors. It governs the construction and acceptance of those machines, whether they are assembled on site or set in place as a complete unit, and it is written for the chemical and petrochemical industries. The Chinese classification P93 and the international classification 21 place it with mechanical installation work. It is used with GB 50204, GB 50235, GB/T 1184, HG 20201 and HG 20203. It supersedes HGJ 206-1992, carried over from the earlier chemical engineering series. Issued on 12 April 2017, it has applied since 1 October 2017.
