Scope

HG/T 20205-2017 is the English-translated version of 化工机器安装工程施工及验收规范(离心式压缩机).

Centrifugal compressors are covered by HG/T 20205-2017, the recommended Chinese chemical industry code for their installation. It deals with the construction and acceptance of centrifugal compressor installations in chemical and petrochemical plant, and stands beside the companion codes of the same series written for other machine types. Its place in the classification schemes is P93 in China and 21 internationally. The code is applied with GB 50204, GB 50235, GB 50236, HG 20201 and HG 20203. It replaces HGJ 205-1992. Issued on 12 April 2017, it has applied since 1 October 2017.
