Scope
GB/Z 43533-2023 is the English-translated version of 依据GB/T 7251.2—2023的成套电力开关和控制设备(PSC成套设备)中内部电弧故障抑制系统的集成.
GB/Z 43533-2023, identical to IEC TS 63107:2020, deals with building internal arc-fault mitigation systems (IAMS) into power switchgear and controlgear assemblies (PSC-assemblies) made to GB/T 7251.2-2023.
An IAMS pairs an internal arc-fault control device, which senses light, pressure, current or voltage, with an arc reduction device such as an arc quenching device.
The document covers interface characteristics, information, conditions of use, construction and performance requirements, design verification and routine verification, checking correct operation, freedom from unwanted tripping and behaviour at energization.
It applies to enclosed assemblies only, leaves personnel safety to GB/T 18859-2016 and excludes arc fault detection devices to IEC 62606. Annexes guide users and original manufacturers. It was issued on 28 December 2023.

Foreword
This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1. Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" Drafting.
This document is equivalent to IEC TS63107:2020 "Complete power switch and control equipment according to IEC 61439-2 (PSC complete set of equipment)" Integration of internal arc fault suppression systems in equipment). The file type is adjusted from IEC technical specifications to my country's national standardization guidance Technical documents. This document has made the following minimal editorial changes.
---In order to coordinate with my country's technical standard system, the standard name is changed to "Complete sets of power switches and switches based on GB/T 7251.2-2023" Integration of internal arc fault suppression systems in control equipment (PSC complete equipment).
Introduction
Internal Arc Suppression System (IAMS) is composed of Internal Fault Control Device (IACD) and Internal Arc Reduction Device (IARD). system.
IACD and IARD can be combined and designed in the same appliance.
IACD uses the effects of arcing, such as changes in light, air pressure, current and/or voltage, to detect complete sets of electrical switching and control equipment The arc inside the (PSC complete equipment) generates a trigger signal for the corresponding IARD.
IARD reduces the arc energy to a certain level. At this level, if there is no IARD, the arc energy will be released and the fault will be transmitted. The system short circuit protection device (SCPD) blocks.
The operation of IARD can be achieved through a variety of methods, individually or in combination, including but not limited to the following examples.
a) Use upstream SCPD blockade triggered by IARD;
b) Through the parallel connection of low impedance current paths, arc extinguishing devices (AQD) are used to commutate the current to this parallel path, which also requires the above The SCPD blocks the short-circuit current caused by AQD before the short-circuit current exceeds the current carrying capacity;
c) By introducing a defined impedance in series with the arc fault circuit using an internal arc fault limiting device (IALD), a upstream SCPD to extinguish the arc.
The techniques described in a) and b) are the most commonly used. Purpose of this document.
---Define the specific requirements for IAMS to be correctly loaded into PSC complete equipment. These requirements are to be met by the original manufacturer of the complete equipment;
--- Provide necessary requirements to verify the correct use of IAMS;
--- Provide users with details of the different options that need to be considered when installing IAMS into PSC complete equipment;
---Provide PSC complete equipment initial manufacturers with guidance on structural requirements that require special attention when installing IAMS.
In order to use IAMS safely and reliably, the correct use of IARD and the accompanying IACD is very critical. Assume that through the columns in this document All tests carried out will verify the correct functioning of the entire system (combination and assembly of individual appliances).
This document specifies tests to verify that, for example, switching operations of built-in components do not cause unintentional operation of the IAMS.
When internal arcing occurs immediately after powering up the package, it is important to consider the behavior of the entire system.
Additionally, it is necessary to consider external influences in the surrounding environment, such as light sources.
The purpose of installing IAMS into PSC complete equipment is to reduce the energy released in the event of internal arc faults by activating IARD. achieve.
---Reduce damage to PSC complete sets of equipment;
---Improve the suitability of PSC complete sets of equipment for continued use after internal arc faults;
---Enhance the capabilities of PSC complete equipment to reduce the risk of personal injury;
The protection provided by IAMS has certain limitations. In order to ensure the normal function of IAMS, the "IAMS protection area" in this document (in the rated (Verification within a specific range of values for operating voltage and expected short-circuit current)).
GB/T 18859-2016 provides testing for PSC complete equipment integrated with IAMS when air arcing is caused by internal faults.
Guidelines, and gives information on personnel safety and damage to PSC complete equipment. This document 10.101.4 (Test of IAMS in PSC complete equipment Verification) needs to be used in conjunction with GB/T 18859-2016.
1 Scope
This document specifies low-voltage complete sets of switchgear and control equipment in accordance with GB/T 7251.1-2023 and GB/T 7251.2-2023.
Preparation---Integration and testing requirements for IAMS in complete power switch and control equipment to illustrate their correct use.
This document does not cover personnel safety and damage to PSC complete sets of equipment. These requirements are in GB/T 18859-2016 (see also 10.10.1) illustrate.
Note: This document serves as a reference document for other types of complete sets of equipment of GB/T 7251 (all parts), but taking into account the specific requirements of other complete sets of equipment or products circumstances, the adopted test procedures and acceptance criteria can be modified.
IAMS consists of products that comply with their relevant product standards (e:g. optical IACD complies with IEC 60947-9-2, AQD complies with IEC 60947-9-1. SCPD complies with the IACD and IARD composition of IEC 60947-2). Provide integration conditions for reliable functions in PSC complete equipment Verification of correct use of the complete system.
This document only applies to closed PSC complete sets of equipment and involves combination with GB/T 7251.1-2023 and GB/T 7251.2-2023 The integration requires validation of all requirements. The test procedures given in this document take into account.
---Correct functionality of IAMS within PSC complete equipment;
---Prevent unintentional operation of IAMS within PSC complete equipment;
---The operation of the system after the complete set of equipment is powered on.
Different tests under more severe conditions (e:g. door in open position) are subject to agreement between the user and the original manufacturer of the PSC package Apply.
This document does not replace any individual product standards; the requirements for individual electrical appliances are specified in their product standards.
This document does not apply to the integration of arc fault detection devices (AFDD) in accordance with IEC 62606.
Informative Appendix II provides guidance on special structural requirements for IAMS integration within PSC complete equipment.
Informative Annex HH provides users of PSC packages with criteria to consider when using PSC packages incorporating IAMS. guide.
