1 Scope

GB/Z 41595-2022 is the Chinese national standard on safety requirements for woodworking tools - requirements for the shank of shank mounted milling tools, in the field of wood technology. The /Z suffix marks it as a guiding technical document: it does not prescribe requirements that can be certified against, but sets out the technique, the method or the state of the art that the standards bodies recommend following. It was issued on 12 October 2022 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China. This document specifies the method for determining the maximum speed of the shank milling cutter when the eccentric distance is given on the clamping device, and gives the content of the tool marking.
