1 Scope

GB/Z 40667-2021 is the Chinese national standard on specification for operation technologies of traditional chinese medicinedermatologyion atomization of chinese materia medica, in the field of health care technology. The /Z suffix marks it as a guiding technical document: it does not prescribe requirements that can be certified against, but sets out the technique, the method or the state of the art that the standards bodies recommend following. It was issued on 11 October 2021 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China. 3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 IonatomizationofChinesemateriamedica The gauze that has been soaked in Chinese medicine liquid is applied to the affected area, and the fine particles formed by the ultrasonic spectrum oscillation generated by the ion sprayer Or ionized steam for external treatment.

3.2 Coldspray The fine particles formed by the oscillation of the ultrasonic frequency spectrum generated by the ion spray machine are atomized for treatment.

Note. It is necessary to apply gauze soaked in traditional Chinese medicine liquid to the affected area for spray treatment.

3.3 Thermalspray The ionized steam produced by the ion spray machine is used for treatment.

3.4 PhysicliquorofChinesemateriamedica It is a liquid dosage form for decoction of medicinal materials or rough ends with water, removing slag and extracting juice.

4 Preparation before operation

4.1 Therapeutic equipment and supplies The treatment equipment and supplies at least include ion sprayer, traditional Chinese medicine liquid, gauze, dry cotton ball, disposable treatment sheet, and water cup.

4.2 Gauze treatment The yarn is placed in the configured Chinese medicine liquid and soaked for 2 hours.

5 Operation method

5.1 Check the patient's name and explain the purpose of treatment to the patient.
