1 Scope

3 calibration

A typical calibration procedure for adjusting arm length during calibration is shown in Figure 3.

Loosen the adjustment screw that fixes the boom on the main drum.

When the handle is firmly held in the horizontal position, the calibration weight is hung in the center of the boom head.

Adjust the length of the inner boom of the main drum so that the boom that receives the weight of the loaded weight remains in a horizontal position.

Tighten the adjusting screw to lock the rotating arm firmly in the main drum.

Recheck the calibration and remove the weight.

4 test head preparation

The surface of the test head shall be coated with three layers of test tape in the following order.

a) The first layer (inner layer) --- indicating tape, as shown in Table 1, black vinyl foam tape.

b) Second layer (middle layer) --- No. 2 sensing tape, as shown in Table 1, white vinyl foam tape.

c) Third layer (outer layer) --- No. 1 sensing tape, as shown in Table 1 tetrafluoroethylene tape.
