1 Scope

This guiding technical document specifies the basic principles, the types of study, the test substance, the design of the study protocol, the conduct of the study, the study report and the requirements on the filing of records for studies evaluating the efficacy of feed materials and feed additives in aquatic target animals. This guiding technical document applies to studies evaluating the efficacy of feed materials and feed additives whose target animals are aquatic animals.

This Guidance Document specifies the basic principles for the evaluation of the effectiveness of feed animal and feed additive aquatic target animals, Type, test substance, test program design, test implementation, test reports and data archiving requirements. 2 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
