1 Scope
This guiding technical document specifies the basic requirements for the production of cucumber, covering mainly the selection and management of the production base, the management of inputs, cultivation management, pest control, labour protection and record keeping. This guiding technical document applies to the growing and production of cucumber, including gherkins for keeping fresh and for pickling.

3.1 Production base selection
3.1.1 Production base environmental conditions should be consistent with the requirements of GB/T 18407.1. Base should be far away from pollution sources. 3.2 Base management
