Scope
GB/Z 220-2026 is the English-translated version of 人工智能 具身智能数据生成平台技术要求.
GB/Z 220-2026 is a Chinese national guidance document on artificial intelligence that sets technical requirements for an embodied intelligence data generation platform.
It provides a reference framework for such a platform and specifies the technical requirements for the engine layer, the generation layer and the application layer.
It applies to the design, development and testing of embodied intelligence data generation platforms. The terms chapter defines data generation, data synthesis, data augmentation, the data generation engine and scene.
It also contains a chapter on abbreviations and the reference frame. Two informative appendices describe the indicators of the platform and give examples of functions for specific scenario categories. Issued on 27 August 2026, it has no earlier edition listed.

1 Scope
This document provides a reference framework for an embodied intelligent data generation platform, specifying the technical requirements for the engine layer, generation layer, and application layer.
This document applies to the design, development, and testing of embodied intelligent data generation platforms.
2 Normative references

3 Terms and Definitions
The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 41867-2022 and GB/T 45288.1-2025, as well as the following terms and definitions, apply to this document.
3.1 Data generation
Embodied intelligence is the process of converting descriptive information about a robot, its task requirements, and its task environment into the required data.
Examples. Data production from scratch, data synthesis based on existing data, and data augmentation.
Note 1. Typical techniques for generating embodied intelligence data include simulation, modeling, or algorithms.
Note 2. Typical uses of embodied intelligence data generation include training, validating, or testing models for perception, planning, and execution.
3.2 Data synthesis
The process of constructing synthetic data based on existing data.
Example: The process of interpolating time or space to obtain data, such as interpolating joint data at 10 frames/s to obtain joint data at 30 frames/s.
Note: Referring to section 3.5 of GB/T 40099-2021, synthetic data refers to data obtained by interpolation between multiple data points of the same existing variable.
3.3 Data augmentation
[Source: ISO /IEC 22989:2022, 3.2.3]
3.4 Data generation engine
Internal software that provides the technical capabilities to support data generation.
Example: Data generation engine based on simulators or generative artificial intelligence.
3.5 Scene
Embodied Intelligence is a data set of geometric, visual, and layout attributes of multiple objects and the spaces they constitute.
Note 1.3D scenes are a common form of scene presentation, namely scene model materials expressed using 3D information such as mesh models and 3DGS.
