This section GB/T 9978 Part 7.

The partial modification of the use of ISO 834-7:2000 "Fire resistance tests for building elements - Part 7. Particular requirements for columns" (in English).

This section according to ISO 834-7:2000 redrafted. Appendix A, Appendix B to ISO 834-7:2000 original Appendix and Appendix C lists no part reg and present ISO 834-7:2000 reg control list numbered.

Adopting ISO 834-7:2000 when this part has made several modifications. About the technical differences have been incorporated into the body and they are involved the terms of the margin identified by a single vertical line. We give a list of these technical differences and their causes in Appendix D, for reference.

Corresponding to ISO 834-7:2000, this section also made the following editorial changes.

--- "This part of ISO 834" was changed to "GB/T 9978 to the present section";

"." --- With a decimal point instead of a comma as the decimal point, "";

--- Remove the foreword and introduction of international standards.

This section of the Appendix A, Appendix B, Appendix C, Appendix D are informative appendices.

1 Scope

This section GB/T 9978 specifies the test procedures to determine the fire resistance of the column members.

Column during the fire resistance test all axial side are subject to fire, when the actual face by the fire less than four, should be re-determine the appropriate test condition.

3 Terms and Definitions

GB/T 5907 and GB/T 9978.1 and established the following terms and definitions apply to this section.

Vertical partition for non-load-bearing building components.
