This standard is equivalent translation ISO 35:2004 "Natural rubber latex concentrate Determination of mechanical stability" (in English) and its amendments ISO 35.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of the concentrated natural rubber latex mechanically stable, this standard also applies to pre-vulcanized natural rubber latex concentrate.

This method may not apply to potassium hydroxide stored latex and natural rubber latex of Hevea brasiliensis latex other than this Act does not apply to Synthetic latex.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

Ammonia and/or other preservatives, and processed through some kind of concentrated natural rubber latex.

Latex under specified conditions, starting to see the time required for flocculation tablets, expressed in seconds.

5 Reagents

Ammonia solution (5.1 and 5.2) should be used to confirm the preparation of analytical grade ammonia, and should be stored in airtight containers.

In the local regulations of water, use distilled water or without carbon dioxide equivalent purity water.

5.1 ammonia solution containing 1.6% (mass fraction) of ammonia (NH3), alkalinity for at least 0.30% (relative to the concentrated latex) of latex concentrate.

5.2 ammonia solution containing 0.6% (mass fraction) of ammonia (NH3), for alkalinity 0.30% or less (with respect to the concentrated latex) liquid latex shrink.
