This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This Standard replaces GB/T 7996-2013, "Nominal capacity and diameter of glass-lined equipment"; compared with GB/T 7996-2013, the main technical changes, except editorial changes, are as follows:
-- Cancel four specifications of 400 L, 800 L, 1 250 L and 2 500 L in the nominal capacity series (see Table 1 of version 2013);
-- Cancel two specifications of DN300 and DN2 050 in the nominal diameter series (see Table 2 of version 2013).
1 Scope
This Standard specifies the nominal capacity and diameter of glass-lined equipment. This Standard applies to glass-lined equipment.
2 Nominal capacity
2.1 The nominal capacity of glass-lined equipment shall be selected in accordance with Table 1.
2.2 Marking and its example
Take the glass-lined equipment whose nominal capacity is 1 000 L as an example, it is marked as VN 1 000.
3 Nominal diameter
3.1 When the glass-lined equipment cylinder is rolled with steel plate, the nominal diameter shall be selected according to Table 2. […]
