0.5 kg per day, have a slaughter rate of more than 56%, and a net meat yield of more than 36%.
7.2 Reproductive performance Female donkeys reach sexual maturity at 12-18 months of age and begin breeding at 24-36 months of age. Their estrous cycle is 18-24 days, and the duration of estrus is The gestation period is 360-370 days, with gestation time ranging from 5 to 8 days. 9 Performance Testing Methods
9.1 Body measurements and weight Perform according to GB/T 27534.6.
9.2.1 Milk production
9.2.1.1 Daily milking yield. Isolate the foal from the mother donkey for 8 hours, and milk it manually or mechanically with a milking interval of 4 hours, for two consecutive milkings. After weighing, the milking amounts from the two milking operations are added together to obtain the daily milking amount. Calculate according to formula (1).
9.2.1.2 Daily milk production is calculated according to formula (2).
9.2.1.3 Monthly milk production. Daily milk production was measured every 10 days ± 2 days, and measured 3 times per lactation month. It was calculated according to formula (3).
9.2.1.4 Milk production. The cumulative milk production of a female donkey during the six months from the start of lactation after foaling is calculated according to formula (4).
9.2.2 Milk Components
9.2.2.1 Milk protein percentage Determined according to the method specified in GB 5009.5.
9.2.2.2 Milk fat percentage The determination shall be made in accordance with the method specified in GB 5009.6.
9.2.2.3 Lactose percentage Determined according to the method specified in GB 5009.8.
9.3 Meat performance Daily weight gain, slaughter rate and net meat yield are specified in GB/T 43838. GB/T 6940-2026. Livestock and Poultry Breeds (Strains) - Guanzhong Donkey ICS
